we now have a chat room in the testing stages. it is up and running but is still under constant changes. you can access the chat room via "Members/chat room". you will have to register in order to use this. i will also be looking for people to help manage the chat rooms similar to a "Administrator". this will consist of monitoring for abuse or abusive languages. Administrators or "su" super user will have the power to kick a user out of the room or ban them.

Other Meeting Points Of Interest

Rally:
It was brought to attention that this years rally was scheduled for the same weekend as the BBB in Fayetteville. A new date was found. Kelley motioned we accept October 3, 4, and 5 as our rally dates. Motion was seconded and approved.

Arkansas Confederation of Motorcycles:
Mike Ford gave a report on the ACM, a motorcyclist political activist group. Their board meeting is on January 13, and anyone can attend. Their website (www.arconfed.com) will soon be linked to ours (www.abate17.com).  

District 1 Swapmeet:
Kelley asked if we wanted a booth for the District 1 Swapmeet, scheduled for February 17 and 18. It was decided we would have a booth with electricity.  

50/50 Raffle:
$62 was collected for the 50/50 raffle. Glenda won the raffle and donated her $31 proceeds to the March of Dimes fund.  


We have a FORUM site that is currently being tested for our members to use. This FORUM is open to all members to post messages for other members to view and to reply to. This FORUM will be monitored for abuse or abusive language. Any abuse or abusive languages will not be tolerated and will result in your termination of use.
